Speaks volumes that the worst record in the conference is 3-7...especially when the same team is 3-1 if ya take away conference losses.

UT will be a walkover for LSU if they do win the East.

It may turn out to be a walkover for LSU in the SEC title game if UT is lucky enough to beat Vandy and Ky but if recent history holds, it should be a heck of game.
2000 LSU 38 UT 31 OT @Baton Rouge
2001 UT 26 LSU 18 @ Knoxville
2005 UT 30 LSU 27 @ Baton Rouge
2006 LSU 28 UT 24 @ Knoxville (Last minute Russell pass for TD)
You forgot the 2001 SEC championship game UT 20 LSU 31
UT should have never lost the SECCG they put out Rohan Davey and the starting runing back in the first half and let Matt Mauck come in and do whatever he wanted made him look like a superstar. Was at both games the first wasn't as close as the score indicated.

The way college football has been this year I don't think anyone is a walkover. As Beast said, UT should have never lost the 01 SECCG, they were heavily favored and got beat in the 2nd Half by an All-World performance by Matt Mauck and some lousy defense. Stranger things have happened. They weren't supposed to beat LSU in 05 either but did. UT likes to play the role of the underdog and when nobody gives them a chance, ala the UGA and Arkansas games this year.

Better back story to that. My cousin, a huge UT fan, was dating Maucks sister. To get tickets, he had to sit in the LSU section, and then see his now brother in law lead the Bayou Bengals to a victory over his favorite team, and knock UT out of a trip to the Rose Bowl.

Not bad considering the wins were against Memphis, Louisiana Tech, and Northwestern State.
